Decision on the performance of tasks related to the implementation of the Law on chemicals.

This Decision determines that the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Forensic Medicine is officially authorized to perform tasks related to the implementation of the some specific task deriving from the obligations prescribed in the national Law on chemicals (tasks that can technically be performed in specific premises). The Institute of Forensic Medicine carries out the following tasks: clinical toxicology in chemical poisonings, including pesticides and other toxic substances, as a support to the Poison Center and other medical institutions; periodic measurements in the field of professional toxicology; professional advice related to chemicals; other tasks in accordance with the program from point 3 of this Decision. The Institute for Forensic Medicine prepares a work program every year. The program is adopted in agreement with the minister responsible for health no later than 30 November for the following year.
