Decree on the concession for the use of the Sava River for the production of electricity in the hydroelectric power plants HE Moste, HE Mav i e and HE Medvode.

This Decree determines the area of the Sava river water resource, in which a concession is granted for the production of electricity at the sections of the HPP Moste, HPP Mav i e and HPP Medvode hydroelectric power plants. This text further prescribes the necessary conditions for the implementation of related concession, the duration of the concession and the amount of payment for such concession, which is proportional to the duration of the water right here granted. The concessionaire can use the Sava River in the sections of HPP Moste, HPP Mav i e and HPP Medvode exclusively for the production of electricity. The operating regime of HP Moste HPP, HP Mav i e HPP and HPP Medvode is specified in the hydroelectric power plant usage permits. The concessionaire must ensure the operating regime of the hydroelectric power plants, which optimally utilizes the potential energy of the Sava River, taking into account the requirements of environmental protection. The concession for the use of water for the production of electricity from the Sava River at the sections of HPP Moste, HPP Mav i e and HPP Medvode is granted for 50 years.
