Abstract
This Decree regulates the criteria for assigning citizens to defence duties and to duties in the system of protection against natural and other disasters in accordance with the law, priorities, powers and procedures for assignment.
The assignment of citizens to defence duties is carried out by the defence administrations of the Ministry of defence, which keep records of citizens, while the assignment of citizens to duties in the system of protection against natural and other disasters is carried out by branches of the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for protection and rescue, so that they ensure a planned, coordinated and even completion and take into account when distributing the priorities determined by related laws and regulations. When determining a citizen's schedule for defence duties and duties in the system of protection against natural and other disasters, the following are taken into account: assessment of medical capacity to perform duties; type and level of school education; profession, employment or function performed; military record duty or qualification to perform duty; knowledge and skills important for the performance of duties; age; rank; place of permanent residence.
