Abstract
The present Decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (sect. 1); General requirements (sect. 2); Special requirements for specific types of devices (sect. 3); Evalution of emission parameters (sect. 4); Measurements of emissions of halogenated organic compounds and operational monitoring (sect. 5); Detection of excesses (sect. 6); Environmental permits and registration (sect. 7); Supervision (sect. 8); Penalty provisions (sect. 9). Final provisions (sect. 10). This Decree establishes specific requirements relating to the prevention and reduction of emissions of volatile organic compounds into the air and provides: (1) types of activities and facilities to which these provisions apply; (2) limits of emissions of halogenated organic compounds in waste gases; (3) prohibition of the use of certain halogenated organic compounds; (3) evaluation of the emission of halogenated organic compounds; (4) operational monitoring program and sampling of the concentration of halogenated organic compounds; (5) measures regarding the reduction of risk to human health caused by emissions of halogenated organic compounds.
