Decree on water management plans in the water areas of the Danube and the Adriatic Sea for the period 2023-2027.

This Decree here adopts the: Water management plan in the Danube water area for the period from the year 2023 until the year 2027; and Water management plan in the water area of the Adriatic Sea for the period from the year 2023 until the year 2027. This text further determines the water bodies of surface and underground water for which the deadlines for achieving the goals of the Danube Water Management Plan and the Adriatic Sea Water Management Plan are extended, and regulates in more detail the prohibitions, conditions and limitations of the conditions and restrictions on interventions in the water resource for the purpose of ensuring achieving the goals or maintaining the goals of the Danube Water Management Plan and the Adriatic Sea Water Management Plan, in accordance with the laws governing water. The Danube Water Management Plan and the Adriatic Sea Water Management Plan are considered environmental starting points that relate to water, in accordance with the law governing environmental protection. All water bodies with extended deadlines for achieving the objectives of water management plans are listed in article 4. Prohibitions, conditions and restrictions on the special use of surface water are defined in article 5. Permanent anchoring is prohibited on water lands outside the areas of the ports for which the water right is granted (article 8). Reuse of treated municipal wastewater for agricultural irrigation is not permitted (article 9).
