Real Estate Registration Act.

This Act regulates the registration of real estate, state borders and spatial units, the procedure for land parceling, arranging and changing the boundaries of land plots, the procedure for entering data on buildings and parts of buildings in the cadastre of buildings and the entry of their changes, the register of real estate, issuance of data and other issues related to the registration of real estate, state borders and spatial units of the Republic of Slovenia. The registration of real estate under this Act shall include the establishment, management and maintenance of the land cadastre, the building cadastre and the national real estate register.

Basic definitions of the land and property are here defined as follows: a property is land with associated components; land is a land parcel registered in the land cadaster; the associated components of land are buildings and parts of buildings registered in cadastre of buildings.
