Real Estate Cadastre Act.

This Act stipulates the establishment, management and maintenance of the real estate cadastre, the state border register, the register of spatial units and the register of addresses. The purpose of the Act is to ensure the entry of correct and complete data on real estate, which shows the actual situation in space, and the display of data on the state border, spatial units, addresses and data from other public records, if required.
The Act defines the precise spatial units subject to mandatory registration, establishing technical criteria for parcels, buildings, and individual parts of buildings. It outlines the methodology for representing real estate properties through spatial coordinate points and interconnected boundary polygons to guarantee spatial accuracy. Furthermore, the Act specifies data integration parameters between the real estate register and the judicial land registry (Zemljiška knjiga), dictating the automation of data exchanges regarding ownership identity, co-ownership percentages, and legal rights.
Administrative protocols for structural alterations, boundaries, and geometric modifications are codified under a digitized administrative framework. Real estate owners and licensed surveying practitioners are required to submit spatial elaborates and technical requests exclusively through a unified electronic information system. The Act specifies mandatory timelines for real estate reporting, such as the registration of new buildings within a designated post-construction timeframe, and delineates the evidentiary roles of official field surveys and judicial boundary-setting procedures.
