Abstract
This Regulation adds and modifies certain provisions to the Regulation on sampling procedures and methods of analysis for determining the lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD presence in foods (originally published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia 108/2002, and already amended in the Gazette 77/2004).
Changes are related to the introduction of new European Union thematic documents, which measures are adopted and declared as “in accordance” with this Regulation. Commission Directive 2001/22/EC of 8 March 2001 laying down the sampling methods and the methods of analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs; and Commission Directive 2005/4/EC of 19 January 2005 amending Directive 2001/22/EC laying down the sampling methods and the methods of analysis for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs are both indicated in article 1. This amending Regulation further sets out the necessary modifications to Annexes 1 and 2. These changes in Annexes are listed in this publication, see articles 2 and 3.
