Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down animal health conditions governing intra-Community trade in sheep and goats. In particular, this Regulation specifies requirements for trade in ovine and caprine animals for slaughter and for fattening. Dealers of animals, intended for trade within the territory of the European Community, must be approved by the Veterinary Administration. Sheep and goats during transport to the destination place must be accompanied by the certificate on health status of animals. A health certificate is valid for ten days from the health control. This Regulation is composed of 18 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Conditions of trading (Sec. 2); Program (Sec. 3); Status (Sec. 4); Dealers and carriers (Sec. 5); Health certificate (Sec. 6); Final provisions (Sec. 7).
