Regulation on the conditions for passing the hunting test and the form of proof of passing the hunting test.

This Regulation stipulates: the method of taking the hunting test; the way exam boards are formed; the form of proof of passing the hunting test (certificate). The exam includes a practical and a theoretical part. The trainee takes the practical part of the exam in a hunting ground or in a hunting ground with a special purpose, and the theoretical part of the exam at the Hunting Association of Slovenia. The manager of a hunting ground or a hunting ground for a special purpose shall appoint a mentor for the trainee. The manager of a hunting ground or a hunting ground with a special purpose is obliged, together with the mentor, to prepare a program for the practical part of the exam in the hunting ground, which must contain all the content related to game management, so that the trainee at the end of the training period masters all the practical work, which they are required by sustainable game management. Candidates for the hunting exam take the theoretical part of the exam in front of three-member examination boards appointed by the minister responsible for hunting. After successfully passing the hunting test, the examination board issues a certificate of passing the hunting test to the candidate (attached in the Annex of this text).
