Regulation on the criteria for determining the water protection area.

This Regulation, in relation to a body of water or its parts, which is used or intended for water abstraction, stipulates: the necessary criteria for determining the outer limits of its water protection area; the criteria for determining the boundaries of the internal areas of the water protection area; the starting points for determining the water protection regime in relation to interventions in the environment, which, according to the criteria for determining the limits, are a risk of water body pollution, and other issues necessary to determine the water protection area. The provisions of this text are used to protect water bodies that are used or intended for the abstraction of water for public drinking water supply.
