Abstract
This Regulation here defines the conditions and method of implementing fire protection of property, as well as control over the implementation of fire protection performed by legal entities and criteria for fire protection of certain types of buildings that can be fire protected by fire brigades. Fire protection may be performed by legal entities that have a property protection license in accordance with the law governing private security and an obtained authorization to perform fire protection. Fire protection of industrial and other commercial buildings with a higher risk of fire, in which there is at least a medium to increased risk of fire according to the regulations on determining the assessment of fire risk, can be carried out on the basis of the regulations governing the fire department and contracts with commercial companies, institutes and other organizations, who are owners or users of such facilities, including professional or volunteer firefighting units, which must arrive at the area of the fire-protected facility with an intervention team no later than ten minutes from the moment of the alarm or call, and the headquarters of these units must not be further from the protected facility than 5 km.
