Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister for the Environment and Spatial Planning, which is composed of 28 articles and three Annexes, establishes classification of radioactive waste according to the degree and type of radioactivity, radioactive waste and spent fuel, details on reporting on the generation of radioactive waste and spent fuel, and the manner and extent of keeping central records on radioactive waste and spent fuel, and keeping records on stored radioactive waste and spent fuel. These provisions apply to spent fules and to substances in gaseous, liquid or solid form, objects or equipment containing radioactive materials or radioactive contamination, so that they exceed the level of suspension where waste is generated, or if the holder intends or is required to be discarded because these substances are not provided for further use or if their use is not authorized in accordance with the regulations governing protection against ionizing radiation.
