Regulation on the marking and registration of pet animals.

This Regulation as in accordance with the provisions of the Slovenian Veterinary compliance criteria Act, Animal protection Act and Veterinary practice Act, here determines the necessary conditions for marking of pet animals, among issues on identification documents for the registration of such pet animals, including the manner of issuing identification documents, the manner of keeping records of issued identification codes and issued identification documents, the manner of keeping central registers of pet animals and the content and manner for keeping records on suppliers of identification codes and identification documents. This text further regulates the manner of marking and issuing identification documents and keeping records of identification documents as for the purposes of the implementation of the rules contained in the Regulation (EU) No 576/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 June 2013 on the non-commercial movement of pet animals and repealing Regulation (EC) No 998/2003, and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 577/2013 of 28 June 2013 on the model identification documents for the non-commercial movement of dogs, cats and ferrets, the establishment of lists of territories and third countries and the format, layout and language requirements of the declarations attesting compliance with certain conditions provided for in Regulation (EU) No 576/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
