Regulation on reporting, collecting and editing data on poisonings on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia.

This Regulation determines the content and method of reporting, collecting and editing data on poisonings that require medical treatment and that was occurred on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. The collection and processing of this data enables the monitoring and study of the incidence and circumstances of the occurrence of poisonings with the aim of their prevention and the most appropriate treatment, as well as the education of professionals and public information. Data from the collections and the register of the manager are kept for the time and in the manner determined by legal regulations, and after statistical processing in a form that does not allow identification of individuals, they are forwarded once a year to the Chemicals Office of the Republic of Slovenia. Legal and natural persons who practice health care are obliged to report to national Poisoning Center on an ongoing basis the information specified on the Poisoning Report form, which is attached in the Annex of this text.
