Abstract
This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Slovenian Management of Genetically Modified Organisms Act, and in accordance with the Directive 2001/18/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the deliberate release into the environment of genetically modified organisms, sets out the elements and scope of the risk assessment for the administration of a product containing genetically modified organisms (GMOs), on the market and the methodology for its production. The subject of risk assessment for placing a product on the market is the identification, analysis and evaluation of possible impacts of the product to be placed on the market and its use on the environment or human health. risk control and management measures in accordance with the prescribed criteria.
