Abstract
This Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which is composed of 11 articles, establishes provisions concerning management of substances that deplete the ozone layer. The Ministry of the Environment is the competent authority for the implementation of the Regulation No. 2037/2000 of the European Parliament and of the Council on substances that deplete the ozone layer. In particular, the Ministry is responsible for sending to the Commission the required reports and data, cooperate with scientific authorities in the Republic of Slovenia and other countries and international organizations responsible for the implementation of regulations concerning the management of substances that deplete the ozone layer, participate in controls of imports of controlled substances from third countries on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia. Art. 8 specifies penalty provisions for violating provisions established by this Regulation.
