Abstract
This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of five articles, lays down zootechnical and genealogical standards applicable to pure-bred animals, their semen, ova and embryos. For the purposes of these provisions pure-bred animal means any animal for breeding which is specified in art.1 of the Council Directive 91/174/EEC, which is marketed and has not been a subject to detailed zootechnical legislation of the European Union, and is itself entered or registered in the register maintained by a recognized breeders organization. Imports of pure-bred animals, their semen, ova and embryos from third countries should not be done under more favorable conditions as the trade within the European Union Member States.
