Abstract
This Act defines rights and obligations of legal entities and natural persons concerning the protection of the air against polluting substances deriving from human activities and provides for methods for reducing the sources and limiting the effects of pollution (article 1). It consists of 24 articles and is divided into four Parts: general provisions; obligations of legal entities and natural persons; fees and penalties for air pollution and temporary and final provisions. The Act defines pollution sources and pollution limits and specifies which are the obligations of operators and owners of pollution sources. The Act provides for the enforcement of the provision therein and sets the sanctions for non-compliance with the Act.
