Abstract
This Act lays down some amendments and addenda to the Act on foodstuffs. In particular, the present Act amends provisions concerning requirements for safety, composition, technological processes, packaging, labeling, storage and transport of foodstuffs (art. 3 of the amended Act) and establishes the system of rapid alert and risk analysis. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Health may appoint a natural or legal person preparing scientific opinions or advices and scientific and technical support to risk assessment of foods. Such authorized person cooperates with the official control of foodstuffs.
