Act amending and supplementing the Act on waste.

This Act lays down some provisions on management of waste batteries and accumulators. Batteries and accumulators placed on the market are subject to the provisions of the Act on waste, regardless of their shape, volume, weight, material composition or use, processing of waste batteries and waste from the processing of waste batteries and accumulators. In particular the present Act establishes: obligations of operators and producers of equipment (art. 48c); details on collection and processing of waste batteries and accumulators (art. 48d); labeling of batteries and accumulators (art. 48e); collective management of waste batteries and accumulators (art. 48g).
