Act no. 217/2004 on forest reproductive material.

This Act establishes: requirements on the sources of reproductive material of forest tree species and rules on their protection; rules governing the collection of reproductive material of forest tree species, its marketing and use in forest regeneration and on parcels to be afforested; rights and obligations of natural and legal persons concerning the production of reproductive material of forest tree species, its marketing and use for regeneration of forest stands and afforestation; provisions on testing of reproductive material of forest tree species; competences of specialized State authorities. The Act is composed of the following Sections: (1) Introductory provisions; (2) Sources of forest reproductive material and their protection; (3) Collection, raising, registration and records of reproductive material; (4) Marketing of reproductive material; (5) Import and export of reproductive material; (6) Measures to guarantee the quality of reproductive material; (7) Common, temporary and final provisions.
