Abstract
This Decree of the Ministry of Environment, which is composed of 50 articles and 39 Annexes, implements provisions of the Act on the protection of nature and landscapes, and lays down in particular: (1) the list of habitats of European importance, including priority habitats and habitats of national importance (specified in Annex 1); (2) the list of non-native plant species that may be planted or grown without the consent of the state nature and landscape protection authority (Annex 2); (3) the list of non-native species of animals that may be released into the environment without the consent of the nature protection authority (Annex 3); (4) the ist of protected plants (Annex 4); (5) the list of protected animals (Annex 5); (6) the list of species of birds that may be kept, kept in human care, transported, sold, exchanged or offered for sale or exchange (Annex 6); (7) the list of prohibited methods and means of capturing and killing protected animals; (8) the list of protected minerals (Annex 8) and protected fossils (Annex 9) and details on their protection and collection.
