Abstract
This Government Ordinance, which is composed of 18 articles and five Annexes, establishes, in accordance with relevant European Community provisions (those specified in Annex 1), animal health requirements applying to the transportation, trade with Member States and importation from third countries of semen of domestic swine. These provisions do not apply to semen taken and processed in the Slovak Republic or in European Union Member States before 31 December 1991. Annex 2 specifies the requirements for the approval of insemination establishments.
