Fisheries Regulations, 1988.

These Regulations were enacted under section 55 of the Fisheries Management and Development Act, No. 4 of 1988, and cover local and foreign fishing, the specification of management areas, reservation of areas for artisanal and semi-industrial vessels, maintenance of fishing logs, surveillance and enforcement measures, mesh sizes and how to measure them, stowage of gear, fish receiving, processing and marketing.
