Abstract
This Act makes provision for the establishment of the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration as a body corporate and defines its functions and powers and its internal organization. This agency shall regulate and develop improved standards of performance, practice and safety in inland, coastal and maritime shipping also with regard to the prevention of damage to the environment.
