Decree No. 62 laying down general measures for the control of certain animal diseases and specific measures relating to swine vesicular disease.

Having due regard to the provisions laid down at the European Community level under Directive 92/119/EEC, the present Decree sets out particular measures to be applied in the event of an outbreak of one of the diseases listed in Annex I. Whenever the presence of any of such diseases is suspected, the Veterinary Service shall be informed without any delay (art. 3). As soon as the presence of the disease is confirmed, the measures defined under article 4 shall be implemented. Particular control measures against swine vesicular disease are laid down in Annex II.
