Decree No. 71 concerning the controls on the hygiene of food and beverages.

The present Decree describes with detail the checks to be carried out to verify the hygienic conditions of foods and beverages, in compliance with article 9 of Act No. 85 of 1992. These checks shall include direct inspections on the products themselves (colour, odour, taste, etc.) as well as taking samples and laboratory tests.
