Abstract
This Act applies to the entire area of the plantations and to all the public lands and concerns penalties and punishment for prohibited activities and offences relating to public and cultivated land use, and other activities, particularly: throwing and disposal of waste into public land; obstructing dams and other drainage; activities carried out on land without permits; catching fishes by stunning; having possession of a defined quantity of plantation products, for each type exceeding the limit values, including: sugar, molasses, sugar cane, sugar cane juice, cocoa, coffee, rubber, bananas, cassava, coconuts and domestic wood products; polluting water in a well, waterhole or trench or in general any water reservoir that serves as drinking or washing water; making noise that is irritating to the environment; keeping and grazing cattle, riding, burden animals on a piece of land, yard or pasture without authorisation and without maintaining the necessary fencing; planting trees without permits; failing to comply with a District Commissioner's notice regarded to fence or close off water wells or to repair defects that may be dangerous to the environment.
