Abstract
This Act provides for amending the Criminal Code of 1911 in its last amended version. Amendments concern the general provisions, the scope of criminal law, and the types of punishments available. Particularly, the Act focuses on: role of courts and tribunals in the penal system of the country; issuance of a judicial pardon by the tribunal; application of alternative punishments; enforcement measures and compensation; special provisions for young persons' punishment; crimes against personal property, including fires, explosion, flooding through negligence; intentional destruction or damaging of water barriers, waterworks, water pipeline or sewerage system; contamination of people, animals, plants or goods to ionising radiation; poisoning of drinking water supply; environmental and soil pollution; crimes against public authority and institutions; falsification and counterfeiting of marks and seals; falsification of data and breach of the obligation to provide data; crimes related to animal health and welfare; crimes related to navigation; allowing unauthorised livestock to roam on other people's land.
