Act amending the Decree containing rules relative to the the juridical status of lands allocated before 1 July 1982.

This Act amends the Decree containing rules relative to the the juridical status of lands allocated before 1 July 1982 so as to take away uncertainty of legal title (lease(hold)) to former domain lands, the title to which was required to be converted by making an application to the Ministry. This Act clarifies conditions and procedures for such application. If no application is made, then the land will return to the public domain, although there is still an opportunity to acquire a leasehold for those who have observed conditions regarding cultivation, construction and land development more generally.
