Decree containing rules relative to the legal status of lands allocated before 1 July 1982.

This Decree stipulates that there will be no change in the legal status of lands issued before the entry into force of the "Decree on the Issue of Domain Land", on the understanding that if the term of titles under which the lands were issued has expired, the right will no longer be extended. Also, the Land Policy Principles Decree also applies to the lands referred to above. Both natural and legal persons may request the Minister for Natural Resources and Energy to convert the title in such lands to lease(hold). If this is not done, the land may return to the public domain. The present Decree sets out procedures for conversion of title.
