Decision of the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of 4 April 2008 no. 1740, concerning the amendment of the General Quality Decree (S.B. 2002 no. 10).

This Ministerial Decision, implementing Article 2 paragraph 1, Article 3 paragraphs 1 and 2, Article 6 paragraph 1, Article 11 paragraph 3, Article 14 paragraphs 1 and 3, Article 16 paragraph 2, Article 19 paragraph 1 and Article 26 of the Fish Inspection Decree, 2002, and in accordance with European Law on the matter, provides for amending the General Quality Decree 2002. The Decision concerns the export of fish products in the European Union countries. Amendments concern: fish species; checking of the degree of contamination of fishery products by contaminants and related monitoring; contaminant values (lead and cadmium) to be maintained for each fish species, including crustaceans.
