Abstract
Member States must take all necessary measures to ensure that the sampling intended for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs is carried out in compliance with the methods described in Annex I hereto. Additionally, Annex II establishes the criteria to be followed in the sample preparation and analyses used for the official control of the levels of lead, cadmium, mercury and 3-MCPD in foodstuffs.
