State Decree of 14 October 2020, further amending the Departmental Task Description Decree 1991.

This Decree amends the Decree concerning Task Description of Departments and Ministries, moving from the consideration that, in order to realise the intended policy objectives of the Government, a certain number of Ministries was reorganised, by being split up and incorporated into other Ministries, or by undergoing a change of name or by establishing an entirely new Ministry. The Decree concerns the development of strategic plans, coordination of national policies, management of subsidies, and oversight of compliance with laws and regulations. Specific emphasis is placed on youth services, social development, urban planning, labour market regulation, financial measures. Concerning the tasks of the Ministry of Land and Forest Management, the Order provides for: land use planning and land allocation; soil research and soil mapping; control of the lawful and efficient use of allocated land; strengthening responsible nature management and forest protection measures.
