Abstract
This Act establishes rules for NGOS humanitarian intervention in the New Sudan. The Act sets out principles governing NGO intervention and the main objective of NGO activities in the New Sudan. It also establishes the Non-Governmental Organizations Board and defines its functions and powers. Every Non-Governmental Organization shall be registered in the manner specified in this Act. The Act also concerns control on activities of NGO's (including reporting requirements) and defined offences.

Notes
The Non-Governmental Organizations Act, 1994 is repealed, provided all proceedings, orders and regulations issued, or made thereunder shall be valid till repealed or amended in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
