Decree No. 37/99 approving the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation.

This Decree approves the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation. It consists of 5 chapters and 3 annexes establishing the requirements to be satisfied in order to authorize activities which could damage the environment (to be authorized by an EIA licence). It is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. 1); Environmental impact assessment evaluation (2); Environmental licence (3); Environmental advisors (4); Enforcement and control (5). The annexes list environmental activity needing an authorization and fees to be paid in order to obtain a licence.
