Abstract
This Law is composed of 14 articles. It shall be prohibited to trade (export and import) vaccines, fertilizers and pesticides unless a previous licence from the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation is obtained (art. 2). A licence for chemical preparations and animal preparations used for animal, poultry and fish feed as well as those used for protection and treatment of useful insects should be issued only to veterinarians and agricultural engineers (art. 3). The aforementioned licence shall be issued according to a Resolution of the Minister (art. 4). Other Ministries and Departments can import the aforementioned materials for their own use with the approval of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation (art. 5). The packages used for the aforementioned materials shall be subject to a fee in favour of agricultural engineers or veterinarians (art. 6). Importers and producers of the abovementioned materials will have 6 months to settle their position (art. 8). The Minister will issue the Regulation for the trade and circulation of these materials as well as the technical requirements for the licence and registration of veterinary materials (art. 12). Article 13 provides for offences and penalties.
