Legislation No. 21/T on the importation of agricultural consignments.

Agricultural consignments imported into the country will be refused if they are infested with diseases or pests listed in Tables 1 and 2. Introduction of agricultural consignments infested with pests or diseases listed in Table 3 shall meet conditions and requirements specified in article 2. Agricultural consignments are defined in article 1. A permanent technical committee for agricultural quarantine is formed, presided over by a deputy minister (art. 3). Article 4 specifies documents which should be provided with imported agricultural consignments. Procedures, treatments and requirements with respect to the importation, transit or exportation of agricultural consignments are set out in detail in article 6. Articles 7 and 8 provide for the complete prohibition of import of certain materials. Other provisions deal with costs of quarantine services, offences and penalties. (13 articles)
