Announcement of the Department of Fisheries determining the size of the nets and other trawl gear of trawling vessels used for fishing.

These Rules are made under Section 67(3) of the Royal Ordinance on Fisheries by the Director of the Department of Fisheries. Trawl tools used or in possession for fishing purposes must be sized in accordance with these Rules. Section 67 (3) stipulates that no person shall use or have in possession for the purposes of using a trawl net with the size of the meshes round the bottom part as prescribed by Notification of the Director-General.
