Announcement of the Department of Fisheries determining the timing and method of submitting the Marine Catch Transshipping Document.

These Rules, issued by the Director-General of the Department of Fisheries under paragraph 2 of section 88 of the Fisheries Ordinance of 2015 implements a provision that requires any person wishing to use a fishing vessel registered as a carrier for the transshipment of aquatic animals or as a vessel for the storage of aquatic animals to transship aquatic animals of a size from thirty tons or more to prepare and submit to the competent authority a marine catch transshipment document; the data contained therein shall be certified as true and accurate by the master of the carrier vessel and reported to the Department of Fisheries at the time of landing.
