Announcement of the Department of Fisheries regarding the rules for the registration of local fishing community organizations, 2022.

The Announcement reestablishes the criteria for the registration of local fishing community organizations in order to promote their participation in the management, maintenance, conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of aquatic animal resources caught in inland or coastal fishing areas in compliance with the Royal Ordinance on Fisheries. The Provincial Fisheries Office shall be the agency responsible for registering local fishing community organizations. The Announcement lays down rules for the registration of local fishing community organizations, provincial local fishing community organization networks, and the National Local Fishing Community Organization Network; cessation of local fishing community organizations; revocation of registration and appeal against decisions.
