Announcement of the Department of Fisheries specifying the type of fishing vessel, area and time period for which the animals are not allowed to be transshipped outside Thai waters (No. 4).

These Rules, issued by the Director-General of the Department of Fisheries under paragraph four of section 87 of the Fisheries Ordinance of 2015, place restrictions on the transshipment of fish by vessels flying the flag of Thailand operating outside the waters of Thailand. Paragraph four allows the Director- General, for the purposes of preventing and combatting IUU fishing, to prohibit transshipments at sea for certain or all vessels in the specified areas and time periods.
