Directives of the Department of Fisheries Re: Determination of Formats and Methods for Requesting Catch Certificates or Processing Statements for Aquatic Animal Products or Aquatic Animal Processing.

These Directives, issued by the Director-General of the Department of Fisheries under section 93 of the Fisheries Ordinance of 2015 set out conditions and procedures for obtaining a catch certificate or a processing statement for the production of an aquatic animal product or the processing of an aquatic animal. Applicants must operate a fisheries establishment included on the list approved by the Department of Fisheries. In a case in which any such aquatic animal or aquatic animal product is exported to the European Union, any such fisheries establishment must be included on the list approved by the European Union.
