Field Dykes and Ditches Act B.E. 2484.

The Act introduces the obligation for owners of paddyfields to make field dykes and ditches in conformity with rules as precribed in the Act. A Royal Decree shall indicate to which areas the obligation applies (sect. 5). Owners of paddy fields shall keep the mentioned works in good condition and shall ensure the proper control of water (sect. 10).
