Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation is formulated in accordance with the the Agricultural Commodity Standards Act B.E. 2551, aiming to enhance consumer confidence in pork safety, prevent disease outbreaks, mitigate environmental impacts, and improve the sustainability and competitiveness of Thailand’s pork industry. The regulation establishes mandatory standards for Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for pig farms. It applies to farms raising 500–1,499 fattening pigs or 95–119 breeding sows. The Regulation mandates compliance with the Thai Agricultural Standard TAS 6403-2565, which outlines best practices for pig farming to ensure food safety, animal health, and environmental protection.
