Notification of Department of Fisheries on Determining of Areas and Periods in Spawning, Breeding Seasons, Nursery House for Larvae in the Part of Fishing Grounds of Prachuab Kirikhan, Chumporn and Surat Thani Provinces B.E. 2561 (2018).

This Notification is issued in accordance with the Royal Ordinance on Fisheries, B.E. 2558 (2015), aiming to improve the prescribing measures that prohibited using some type of destructive fishing gears for harvesting, in consistent with the changing of current situations.
During the period of time from February 15 to May 15 of every year, no person shall harvest in the localities of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani Province starting from the Strait of Khao Ta Mong Lai, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province to Donsak District, Surat Thani Province as the 1st point to the 7th point as indicated in Clause 1 of this Notification. During the period of time from May 16 to June 14 of every year, no person shall harvest in the locality part of Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani Province starting from the end of Laem Khao Ta Mong Lai, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province to Donsak District, Surat Thani Province as the 1st point to the 7th point as indicated in Clause 3 of this Notification.
