Abstract
These Rules are made under paragraph (2) of section 81 of the Royal Ordinance on Fisheries by the Director of the Department of Fisheries. They provide that any fishing vessel operator who is granted an oversea fishing license must fill in the form of logbook and electronically report in accordance with the Notification of the Department of Fisheries dated 10 February 2017 Re: Rules and Procedures for Vessel Monitoring System Installation and Maintenance in Monitoring Fishing Vessels Operated Fishing Outside the Thai waters to Function at All Time 2017 (B.E. 2560). The report shall be conducted every day from the port departure declaration and distinctively for each fishing operation until port entry. For control and surveillance purposes, the vessel operator to who an oversea fishing license is granted must fill in form of logbook as appended to this Notification and keep it on the vessel at all time for inspection by an officer.
