Abstract
By virtue of section 88 of the Royal Ordinance on Fisheries B.E.2558 (2015) revised by the Royal Ordinance on Fisheries (No. 2) B.E. 2560 (2017), the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, establishes this notification specifying issues related to owners and all sized transshipment vessel which shall implement specific requirements, such as: 1) Provide the Marine Catch Transshipment Document (MCTD); 2) Notify every time upon port in – port out declaration at Port in – Port out Control Center in accordance with the rules and procedures as prescribed by the Director General; 3) Return to the fishing port in accordance with the criteria and period of time as notified by the Director General 4) Provide the marking and identification of transshipment vessel in accordance with the criteria and period of time as notified by the Director General, etc. Clauses 3 to 5 specify the requirements for transshipment.
