Abstract
This Notification provides for the requirements and rules to be satisfied by the labelling of prepackaged food.
Prepackaged Foods shall be made for labeling except for some foods listed in Clause 3. The following food labels shall be delivered to the Food and Drug Administration for an approval prior to use: (1)Prescribing controlled foods; (2) Other Minister prescribed foods. Text on the label of pre-packed food shall be in the Thai language and shall specify the ingredients of the food, especially information about food allergies, and declarations of the functional class titles of food additives, together with specific names or the International Numbering System. Labels must be presented for claims of substances or other compositions in food, such as the substances shall not be prohibited substances regarding the Notification of Ministry of Public Health.
In addition, the Notification sets up specifications related to the text of information relating to food allergies.

Entry into force notes
This Notification shall come into force after 180 days as from the day following date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
